Chok Chai Police Station was established in Buddhist Era 2488 (1945 AD) with the first station chief being Muean Cheoy Pramathomil. Later on, in 2502 BE (1959 AD), the position changed from station chief to commanding officer, with Police Major Niwet Krea-Noprat as the incumbent. In 2516 BE (1973 AD), the position changed from commanding officer to the chief inspector, with Police Lieutenant Colonel Laksana Janthrangsee taking on the role. In 2538 BE (1995 AD), the position changed from chief inspector to deputy superintendent, with Police Major Swing Chuan Katoke filling the position. Then, in 2540 BE (1997 AD), it changed from deputy superintendent to superintendent, with Police Colonel Nirand Kho Phunchalo being the first superintendent.
