Wat Plai Laem

A Buddhist temple located in Bo Phut Subdistrict, Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province, Thailand. The temple belongs to the Mahanikaya Sect of Thai Buddhism.
The temple is situated between Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai) and Chaweng Beach, making it a popular location for visitors to Koh Samui. Wat Laem Suwannaram was established in 1880 (B.E. 2423) and was granted a Vesak (ordination) area (วิสุงคามสีมา) on August 27, 2002 (B.E. 2545).
