Haew Suwat Waterfall
Located in Khao Yai National Park. It is famous because there used to be wild elephants that often fell into a ravine.
Heo Suwat Waterfall is a renowned waterfall, well-known to the general public. It is located in Moo Si Subdistrict, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, about 13 kilometers east of the national park's office. It is the first waterfall of the Lam Takhong stream that flows over a roughly 20-meter high curved sandstone cliff into a beautiful basin below. Especially during the rainy season, there is an abundance of water and strong currents, while in the dry season, the water volume decreases significantly, revealing a small stream of water and sometimes exposing the cave behind the waterfall. The area surrounding the waterfall is a dense forest with a cool shade, accessible by car or by foot via the Pha Kluai Mai - Heo Suwat Waterfall nature trail. Because of its convenient access and large basins suitable for swimming, Heo Suwat Waterfall attracts many visitors who come to play in the water, take photographs, watch birds, picnic, and study nature.
