In Thailand, there is an official language, which is Central Thai, that allows people, no matter which region they are from, to communicate with each other. In Thailand, there are four main regions, and each region has its own dialects. However, in order for Thai people to be able to communicate effectively with each other, the standard Thai language was developed.
