Built at the beginning of the 15th century, Wat Sorasak is located north of the center of Sukhothai Historical Park, in the middle of and inside of the northern old wall of the city. The wat is a bell-shaped stupa on a brick base. The base of the temple is surrounded by 24 elephant heads. some with torso and front legs.
